I don't think Firefox can decipher ActiveX controls. It uses the
Netscape style plug-ins and Microspft made ActiveX incompatible. This
was the case a year or so ago and I'm not aware of any work arounds.

However, I was able to produce similar results using:

goptions device=java [etc etc etc];

This was compatible with any browser.
