Using SAS 9.1.3 on Windows XP.
So when I got the Enhanced Editor window to the size/location I wanted, I used the WSAVE command; this created SASUser.Profile.WHostEdit.wsave which stored my preferred window size and position. HOWEVER, when I open a second Enhanced Editor window (by using Ctrl-N for new program or--more frequently--when opening a SOURCE entry in a catalog) it opens in the SAS default configuration (short and wide, only fifteen lines visible) rather than in the size/position that I set with WSAVE. All additional Enhanced Editor windows past the first one will open in the short/wide configuration; when I open a SOURCE entry the window is short/wide even if there is no Enhanced Editor window open and acting as the program editor. With SAS Explorer, the settings for additional windows are stored in Explorer_1.wSave, Explorer_2.wSave, and so forth; creating similar numbered copies of the WHostEdit.wSave entry does not change the behavior. Has anyone out there figured out how to change the default Enhanced Editor window size for the second and subsequent windows, and/or for editing SOURCE entries? Dave Scocca |
