You have a copy at your site, since it comes with your installation. And there are free copies on the internet, including this one at SAS: http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/docMainpage.jsp For conjoint analysis, look in the SAS/STAT section under PROC TRANSREG. Under 'examples', the 2nd and 3rd examples are metric and non-metric conjoint analysis. As for MDS, just look at the same docs for PROC MDS. Now. Are you sure that MDS and conjoint analysis are *appropriate* for your data? What are your data, and your data sources, and your meta-data, and your study hypotheses? HTH, David -- David L. Great advice David, I've been browsing around SAS site and other
internet resources to find more about it. You asked very good questions, well basically.. My goal is to do perceptual mapping (positioning map) for several brands. I'll ask the respondent to score several characteristics/attributes of differents brands. Let say, I have 5 brands and each brand has 10 differents attributes which which will be scored based on likert scale. I am not really sure what kind of analysis that suitable and can produce perceptual mapping, therefore really appreciate your comments or example of plotting perceptual mapping if any. Thanks a lot guys. Regards Danny What are your data, and your data sources, and your > meta-data, and your study hypotheses?
