Default conversion of Easytrieve program to SAS

I have an old Easytrieve program that I need to convert to SAS. I don't know Easytrieve (although it seems relatively transparent) and I don't have documentation. I have found some docs on the web, but I haven't found and explanation of the command "FLUNK." Can anyone on the list describe this command to me. Feel free to respond off-list.
