Tall Stacks... Tall on SAS!"
The 2005 Midwest SAS® Users Group Conference will be held October 9 - 11, 2005 at the Hilton Netherland in downtown Cincinnati. This year, our 16th conference, will offer two full days of papers and presentations. The conference is designed as a forum to share your knowledge with other SAS software users. The papers, posters, hands-on workshops, and two days of close contact with your colleagues will assist you in increasing your SAS skills. This is the Professional Development Event you must attend in 2005! In addition, the SAS Institute will be there to provide their unique expertise and insight. As always, this will be an excellent chance to expand your SAS horizons. MWSUG Events B&B Riverboats Cruise This year on Monday evening we are having a B&B Riverboat Cruise and Dinner. B&B Riverboats is the premier charter riverboat cruise service in Cincinnati. Their boats are replicas of the riverboats that could be seen steaming down the Ohio River in the 1800s. This will be a great opportunity to network with other conference attendees and to see the skyline of Cincinnati from the Ohio river. Sunday Charity Event No limit Texas Hold 'em Tournament A wise man once said that 'gambling was for people who were bad at statistics...' So we thought that this would be a wonderful opportunity to pit some of the greatest minds in the region against one another, and raise money for charity at the same time! Prior to the opening session on Sunday, we will be holding a charity Hold 'em tournament to benefit Children's Hospital Medical Center. There will be a $25 buy in, with prizes for the top place finishers! MWSUG 16 Co-Chairs George J. Hurley George has worked for Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 2000.
