First off, this is a mailing list, not a helpdesk. It is considered
rude to demand instant gratification, as if you are a customer in a
Starbucks. :-) :-) I know you weren't intentionally impolite, but
I just wanted you to know how your post *appeared* to the reader.
When there's no face-to-face contact, it's only too easy to give the
wrong impression. (As this paragraph has probably just done.)
If you're creating Excel files using ODS, then you definitely need to
read the proceedings of SUGI 30, which just wrapped up yesterday.
Not only was there a couple great papers by Eric Gebhart which directly
affect your problem (check out his Excel tagsets in his talk "ODS
Markup: The SAS Reports You've Always Dreamed Of"), but also papers by
David Brown and Perry Watts on getting stuff into Excel in the way you
