Default Why are you here?

Why do you post in this NG? Why do you regularly post in here? Is this a
place? Is this maybe NOT a place, but "a place" that you go to? And why
do you do that?

Hard questions?

It's a public forum dedicated to a specific subject which is of great
personal interest, and where very smart, knowledgeable and friendly people
are frequent contributors.

There are also other incentives to a particular set of users. For example,
if I'm not mistaken a while ago there was a discussion on how some users
received job offers due to their participation on this newsgroup. Someone
correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that is true. I think it is true for a subgroup of the entire
group. It would be comical, or not, if it was true what you said. No. I
don't hate you or anyone even when say that. OK, maybe I do. Nevermind I
was "thinking overtime".

I mean, didn't C++ ruin my life?
