Default D6 - how to get TreeView #canEditLabels to work reliably?

I am in the process of implementing some edit screens and it struck me it
would be natural to inplace edit the name of my items in the TreeView control
that is built into D6.

However when I enable #canEditLables in the VC, I can't seem to reliably
activate the inplace editor when I try out my UI. I double click on the items
and it doesn't seem to reliably go into edit mode.

Experimenting a bit, it seems that a double click and then a move of the
mouse up or down seems to help, but not always? Is there something I need
to do to better enable editing? Or is there some code I can add to help it
along? I'm using WinXP if that makes a difference.

Also, for my root item in the tree, double clicking seems to expand and collapse
the item - however I can see some workarounds on the group for coping with
that.

Tim
