kylix3ent postgresql connection

allo,

need advise as to why or how come the connection to postgresql returned the
error message :-
Invalid Username/Password.

the err message appeared no matter the postmaster is running or not. Thus I
suspect it is something else.

in the object inspector :-

ConnectionName = PosrgreSQL
DriverName = PostgreSQL.

and as soon as the Connected is set to TRUE, the Database Login dialog box
appeared and that's where the username and password is to be filled in.

your advise please.
