Default Two blinking cursors in jdk 1.4

We are migrating applets from jdk 1.3.1 to 1.4.2. For one of the
applets, a certain sequence of actions involving clicking JTextFields,
entering info and clicking buttons results in two blinking cursors
being displayed. During input I even saw 3 blinking cursors. This did
not happen when I ran within JBuilder. It did happen when the applet
was loaded from the server. How can I go about fixing this situation?
In the past, people have complained about two blinking cursors for jdk
1.3, and they were told to go to 1.4. However, I'm encountering the
opposite situation.

Andrew, there are many ways of interpreting your question "URL(s)?".
Can you clarify?
