EsSock ocx

With classic asp, I am receiving the following error when attempting
to create an Object (set Socket = server.CreateObject
("EsSOCK.EsSOCKCtrl.1") )

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'
Server.CreateObject Failed
Invalid ProgID. For additional information specific to this message
please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at:
http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp .


Can anyone provide any direction to a solution to resolve this error
or any documentation that may exist. The only support found (http://
activex.sourceforge.net/essock.html) does not provide any support
anymore.
