I wrote a text editor in awk, and sent it to Brian Kernighan, who is
the k in awk, Aho, Weinberger and Kernighan. He replied today saying he might write an ed ( the classic unix text editor) in awk, and he said "Thanks for the inspiration, if that's the right word." He's quite welcome, whatever the right word is. I'm doing some de-bugging before I send him the latest version. presidentbyamendment.com |
