Default reading alert log

Hi all,
I am trying to come up with the sql query to read Alert Log.
I am trying to bring only "ORA-" lines between the two dates (today
asnd yesterday for instance). Does anyone have a query handy or point
me to the right direction, please?

Thanks,
Eugene

Why not just use GREP (or another similar command)?

have you applied w2k3 SP1 yet?

(think in terms of penguin-like behavior of someone else being
first-in).

I believe Connor has written a nice utility using external tables
in his book "Mastering Oracle PL/SQL: Practical Solutions".
In fact I think he has shown various ways to monitor the
alert log.

Are you bragging or complaining?

Install CYGWIN & you too can have access to all the great *nix command line
utilities; like grep.
