ontape question

This is really silly to have to ask this....

When we do a level 0 archive, does the process start with a
checkpoint? I always thought it did but all of a sudden am unsure.

This is IDS 11.7.

Hi,

you can rest assured: yes, it does.
It's the archive checkpoint, done specifically
to make sure that the archive will be physically
consistent.

Thanks, I was pretty sure it did but had one of those doubting
